ATTENTION LTV ALUMNI! WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As you know this facility has been running since 1970, and during that time our
operating budget has shrunk substantially. For example, our budget for 2007/2008
was $10,000. It is quite challenging to run a television studio on such a meagre budget when
a replacement light bulb for one of our studio lights can cost $90 for example.
As a result, LTV has always relied on the generous support of our friends in industry,
both financially and from donations of used equipment.

We are anticipating that the switch to High Definition (which will take place in
2010 for most broadcasters) will open up some opportunities for LTV to aquire some
of your old standard Definition equipment. We are in desperate need of many items to
keep our studio functioning.

HOW TO DONATE:
Call the school at 416-396-8000 extension 20058 and ask to speak to Rick Houghton, or click the
email link to the left and send us a message. We are looking for equipment in good working order
complete with manuals and extender cards if possible. We do have an engineer on site who will
answer any technical questions you might have and we can issue tax receipts for donated equipment.
