Our facility features a 10.5m by 7.5m studio complete with Hitachi Z8000
cameras with Teleprompters. We have a 10 x 20 lighting grid connected to
a Mantrix lighting controller. Our audio control room features a 24 track
Ward Beck console and an attached voice-over booth. The audio room is
equipped with Adobe Audition audio editing software. We also have an
additional post-audio suite complete with voice-over booth.
The Production room contains a Grass Valley 200 switcher, Chyron Infiniti
character generator, Leitch video server and coming soon, a two-channel ADO.
We have 6 Avid editing suites with Mojos that can feed live inputs into the
production matrix in real time. We also have 4 Final Cut Pro suites that
students can use to edit their productions. We use Avid, Apple, and Adobe
software in our facility and we always strive to have the most current versions
available at all times. In the grade 11 & 12 programs students will have the
opportunity to learn:
